“I know of no more encouraging fact than the unquestionable ability of people to elevate their lives by a conscious endeavor.”
For the last few months of 2011, I had been excited for 2012. I had been in a kind of limbo for quite some time – I had plans but I just did not know what to do to get them or where to start. The year 2011 was a turning point for me and I am now determined to do my best to reach my goals and live my dreams.
And all of those, starts with making commitments.
I committed to a life with the ultimate goal of happiness.
I committed to faith – faith in something that is bigger and more profound than mere human existence.
I committed to higher learning – both structured and experiential.
I committed to someone who not only makes me happy but also inspires me.
I committed to forming deeper connections with people I love and care for.
I committed to a life of passion – to living each day giving myself over to the things I am passionate about.
I committed to bravery – to being brave enough to live a beautiful and meaningful life.
