“If you surrender completely to the moments as they pass, you live more richly those moments.”
I have always believed that everything has a right time and place. I have always believed that everything that happens in my life happens because of two reasons: the first reason is that it was brought about by my actions, and the second reason is that it is the right time for it to happen.
Life is a perverse creature. There are times when we work hard for something and end up not getting it. There are times we look hard for something and we end up finding something else. There are times we put all our efforts to achieve something and yet we achieve something else.
See, it’s not about not getting anything back for all our efforts. It is about getting something else.
Not because life hates us, no. I really believe that it is because there are some things that we are not meant to have and that if we just let life be, we would realize that what we are getting are the best things for us at that time and moment.
Some may call it believing in destiny, but I don’t really fully subscribe to the destiny theory. At least not in the way other people seem to; you know, just waiting around for life to happen.
It is believing in something greater than human existence. It is believing that when we explore all our capabilities and use them to fully experience each moment of our lives, the world will give back. And if we let each moment shape us in a way that makes us learn more, understand more, and use our skills and talents to the fullest, then everything we never knew we wished for would fall right into place.
