Month one of 2016 saw me on a weekend trip up North with my STORM loves. Good thing about this? I didn’t have to do/plan anything. I just paid my share of the expenses and showed up on time.

Best thing about this? I got to spend a weekend with some of the funnest, funniest, craziest people I got the privilege of knowing.

Hello, STORM loves!

A couple of things:

  • Pangasinan is about 5 hours via NLEX and SCTEX. We rented a van for a relatively hassle-free trip
  • I didn’t do anything there but eat, drink , and sleep (on the beach mostly) but there are a lot of things you can do there. Pangasinan is home to so many beaches since it hugs the coastline. So, take your pick and enjoy
  • We only got to have lunch in Baguio Country Club (thanks, Dwight!) and get hot cocoa at Chocolate de Batirol, but, again, there are a lot of things you can do in Baguio City. Will go back soon and maybe blog about it.
  • As with everywhere, take care of yourself and your belongings, respect people and culture, minimize human footprint, follow rules, and throw trash in the proper place

Still thinking of where to go in February and already looking forward to it.

Still chasing,

Lyra
