How Vietnam fucks up your plans no matter how vague they were
Temples, markets, and glorious street food.
The foreign tourists I met all keep saying "I'm swimming in the ocean at winter time" with gleeful smiles.
Golden beach, fresh seafood, and cool waters makes up for the 6-hour boat ride, I think.
I really loved the whole place. It's the "God-if-I'm-filthy-rich-my-house-would-look-like-this" kind of love. The structures are beautiful and interestingly phased, doorways (and yeah, I really have a thing for doors and doorways) are framed by foliage, the gardens beckon you to step out under the sun, and there are corners that compel you to sit and stay a while.
Month one of 2016 saw me on a weekend trip up North with my STORM loves. Good thing about this? I didn't have to do/plan anything. I just paid my share of the expenses and showed up on time. Best thing about this? I got to spend a weekend with some of the funnest, funniest, craziest people I got the privilege of knowing.
